Comprehensive planning of the building services engineering (BSE) for a hospital facility, with a technical focus on drinking water systems, wastewater infrastructure, ventilation systems, and heating installations.
All systems were precisely sized and designed according to applicable German engineering and technical standards, and calculated based on project-specific operational and hygiene requirements. Particular emphasis was placed on hygienically compliant drinking water planning in line with regulations for healthcare facilities, as well as on energy-efficient heating and ventilation concepts to ensure sustainable operation.
Through integrated, BIM-based interdisciplinary coordination, a fully harmonized technical system architecture was developed. The result guarantees maximum operational safety, high functional performance, and long-term sustainable building operation.

Extension of the existing administrative building, including the addition of an extra floor and the complete reconstruction of the technical room to serve both the existing building and the new extension.
Heating is provided via district heating with a new transfer station, while cooling is supplied by a newly installed chilled water system.
A roof-mounted ventilation system supplies fresh air to the laboratory areas and handles exhaust air, using 100% outdoor and exhaust air. Temperature control is managed through a VRV system, ensuring efficient heating and cooling of the laboratory spaces.

All buildings were connected, strictly adhering to German regulations for sound insulation and fire protection. Special attention was given to the acoustic separation of the apartments and the implementation of fire protection concepts in accordance with applicable building codes.
